You may remember this adorable couple from their engagement shoot at the Rockwood Conservation Mill Ruins last summer (check it out here!) Well, Taryn & Adam’s beautiful winter wedding in Toronto finally came and was everything they had hoped for and more.
Our first stop was to see the ladies getting ready at Taryn’s family home. We got SO lucky and a beautiful snowfall took place, which Taryn was so amazing at posing beautifully in! It was something I had wanted to shoot for so long – a gorgeous bride surrounded by falling snow flakes – and I finally got to do it!
Taryn & Adam’s wedding ceremony took place at Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic church in Etobicoke. This church was simply gorgeous, and so was the Bride as she walked down the aisle on the arm of her Father toward her waiting Groom.
Following the lovely ceremony we shot lots of fun photos around Nathan Phillips Square – where Adam & Taryn even got interviewed by a news crew!
The wedding reception took place at the stunning & dramatic Arcadian Court in downtown Toronto. This was our first time shooting at Arcadian Court and I was so excited to see all the amazing spots for photos, especially along the catwalk. We captured lots of shots inside the Arcadian Loft as well with the wedding party. It was great to have such a perfect view of the city as the background.
The reception was quite a party, and full of laughter and tears! Every detail was perfect (thanks to Rachel A. Clingen wedding decor) and everyone in attendance even gathered onto the dance floor for a special portrait – what an amazing keepsake from your wedding day!
Congratulations Taryn & Adam – you two are clearly very loved by your friends and family, and thank you for trusting us to capture such a special day for you! We had a blast!
