Well guys, this one’s a stunner. Meet Brittany & Rob, one of our gorgeous couples from the summer of 2014! These two got ready at the Pantages Hotel in downtown Toronto, along with their best friends & closest family members.
We arranged to shoot all the photos before their Atlantis Pavilions wedding ceremony, so we asked the groom Rob to stand in front of Massey Hall while his bride Brittany sneaked up behind. They held hands, and turned to see each other for the first time! I love “first looks” because it leaves so much time for photos.
Our wedding party photography time took place at Knox College at the University of Toronto, but before that we snapped a few quick shots at Yonge & Dundas Square with the almost-newlyweds alone, just for fun!
Wayne Prevett from Kettle Creek Weddings presided over a charming wedding ceremony at Atlantis Pavilions, followed by a stunning reception inside the Metropolitan Ballroom.
My favourite part of the night had to be the night time portraits we shot up on the rooftop, and in front of the Ontario Place ball (I think that’s what you call it, anyway.) I wanted a little drama, so Brittany’s awesome brother supplied a little cigar smoke that we backlit with flash for some moodiness. I thought he was so funny peeking in from the corner of image I decided to keep him in the finished version.
Congratulations Brittany & Rob – it was a complete pleasure capturing your wedding day! Also a big thanks to In The Moment who did a fabulous job at the cinematography for the big day, and thanks to Jenny Foster Vaya, who was the ever organized day of coordinator. One more shout out to Patricia’s Cake Creations for their stunning work on Brittany & Rob’s yummy wedding cake. It was a perfect day!
