Brandi & Steve’s wedding day was one of the rainiest days of 2010, but that didn’t spoil the fun. This romantic couple celebrated their vows with an intimate group of friends and family at the Bob Rumball Manor in Toronto, Ontario on Bayview Avenue. This was our first time shooting at the Bob Rumball Manor, and I just loved it! The manor house had such a wonderful vibe – so full of class and charm. Built in 1929 and originally named “Stonedene”, the manor’s ivy-covered walls and rich decor really added to the mystique & romance of the wedding, and I was able to create one of my favourite ‘hanging dress’ images of all time – check it out below! This venue really is a hidden gem in Toronto, and I highly recommend checking out the Bob Rumball Manor if you are planning a wedding or an event. Best of all perhaps, is the fact that the proceeds of the rental fee goes entirely towards the work of The Ontario Mission of the Deaf.
This wedding was so personal to the bride and groom, and was very big on DIY (do it yourself) wedding projects. Brandi is a well-rounded artist, and created everything from her favours to baking her own wedding cake! Pretty extraordinary. Here are some of my favourite moments from Brandi and Steve’s big day. Thank you for asking me to capture these images for you!
