It’s been a very busy year and here I am trying to blog it all! But that’s okay because it means I get to re-live all the love and happiness that my clients got to experience in 2014.
Today we take a look at Andrea & Michael’s wedding day in downtown Toronto, and some of the best wedding photos at Yonge & Dundas Square that I’ve shot to date! A note to Brides & Grooms who are looking at shooting here – it’s not for the faint of heart! It take a great deal of patience and running around to get those perfect images in between the huge crowds! But, when you get THAT image, it makes it all worth it.
We actually began Andrea & Michael’s wedding day at the Renaissance Hotel in Toronto so the ladies could prepare, then we headed over to St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church on Bond Street for a traditional Greek Orthodox wedding ceremony. Once pronounced husband and wife, we took the wedding party over to Ryerson University campus as well as Yonge & Dundas Square for some fun before the reception.
The gorgeous reception was held at Hazelton Manor in Vaughan, and everything was so decadent and beautiful! So much amazing detail went into the planning of this wedding and you could see it everywhere.
There were some wonderfully fun traditions we got to capture, including the Greek Macedonian Pig Dance and Greek Macedonian Bread Dance & Breaking of the Bread.
Congratulations Andrea & Michael – you two are so beautiful together and we hope you have a wonderful marriage!
