Meet Farah & Xeryus – one of the cutest couples on the planet! Their Hazelton Manor wedding was my first Zoroastrian wedding and I absolutely loved being a part of their special day. It was a wonderful experience learning about the Zoroastrian wedding traditions and getting to know Farah & Xeryus’ family & friends in the process.
This wedding day began with Farah at her family’s home. Farah got dressed with help from her mother in her house adorned in beautiful floral decor. Before long, Xeryus came over to meet his beautiful Bride and have a first look next to their wedding day Rolls Royce classic car.
Living Arts Centre Wedding Photos in Mississauga
Before the Hazelton Manor wedding Zoroastrian ceremony took place, we headed over to the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga for wedding photos. The Living Arts Centre was a wonderful Mississauga photo location that I hadn’t experimented with before. I loved the large staircase and stained glass windows featured in the Living Arts Centre atrium. Even the exterior was gorgeous, and we even stopped in at the Mississauga City Hall for a few photos of the large marble archway.
A Traditional Zoroastrian Wedding Ceremony
We all proceeded to Hazelton Manor to prepare for the Zoroastrian wedding ceremony. With a history beginning in Iran approximately 3500 years ago, Zoroastrian wedding traditions are a beautiful coming together of two families. The ceremony is rich in cultural traditions, including rice being thrown as a good luck symbol. As a way to remove any evil destined for the Groom, an egg is passed round his head three times then thrown to the ground and broken, destroying the evil with it. A similar ritual is then performed with a coconut. There was so much more to the ceremony but the whole experience was lovely. Farah wore the most beautiful white bridal sari, and walked down the aisle to sit with her handsome Fiance Xeryus.
A Luxurious Hazelton Manor Wedding Reception
Once the register was signed and the two priests proclaimed the Bride & Groom husband & wife, Farah & Xeryus’ wedding guests enjoyed a luxurious cocktail hour at Hazelton Manor in the lobby. The details in this wedding were absolutely stunning! Beautiful pink rose petals were scattered throughout the lucite sweetheart table perched upon the stage inside the Hazelton Manor ballroom. The talented wedding coordinators at Fab Fete Event Planning Boutique and Stars Decoration absolutely blew everyone away with the event design and wedding decor for Farah & Xeryus’ Hazelton Manor wedding. It was seriously one of the most gorgeous wedding receptions I have ever seen!
Farah & Xeryus made quite a grand entrance, followed by their first dance as husband & wife. Hazelton Manor weddings are always such a pleasure and I can’t thank Farah & Xeryus enough for asking me to be a part of theirs!
All the very best in your life together,
