Rockwood Conservation Area Engagement Photography

We’ve lived in the beautiful town of Rockwood (which is situated near Guelph) for just over a year, and we just love it here.  We both grew up in small towns, so when it came time to buy our first house and choose where to raise our family, we chose Rockwood.

One of the most lovely features Rockwood has to offer is the conservation area and the mill ruins within.  Such a unique location and perfect for Adam and Taryn when it came time to shoot their engagement session.

The most interesting feature of the conservation area is the Rockwood Woolen Mills ruins.  Parts of the stone structure remain, making a very cool spot for interesting images.  The nature is also stunning!  We even caught (what I think is) a blue herring in a shot along with Adam & Taryn in the foreground.

These two are just the cutest, and they were awesome on-camera.  They really had fun exploring the ruins with us, and that’s clear from their pictures.  When you have fun, it really does show in your finished images.

A big thanks to Adam and Taryn whose Arcadian Court wedding we will be sharing with you in the coming months!
