Today you’re in for a real treat – Lucas & Sabrina’s Rockwood Conservation Area engagement photos!
Lucas & Sabrina are absolute sweethearts who are excitedly looking forward to their wedding this fall at the King Edward in Toronto, but we thought my neck of the woods would be perfect engagement photo location. The Rockwood Conservation Area is about 5 minutes from my photography studio and we got SO lucky with the weather.
Initially when we spoke about Rockwood Conservation Area engagement photos, Sabrina had her heart set on snow. Knowing that there would be a good amount of luck with Mother Nature, we were prepared for anything. To our surprise, we got a HUGE snow fall on the day of their shoot! The flakes were absolutely massive, and could not have been more stunning!
It was getting cold after a while, but luckily for Sabrina Lucas is a real gentleman and wrapped her in his jacket and arms. It was so romantic and sweet I couldn’t resist sneaking a few photos of them in the moment among the Mill Ruins.
After a good hour exploring during their snowy Rockwood Conservation Area engagement session, we had some beautiful images but were cold and in desperate need of warmth & coffee. Goodfellows Field To Fork to the rescue!
For those of you who have visited my studio, right next door is the most lovely Italian bakery called Goodfellows (a special treat for my clients while we visit during your album design session). Goodfellows has this incredible flaming Nutella mocha drink with marshmallows torched to perfection. It’s amazing, and I highly recommend it next time you’re in the Rockwood area.
Ryan & Claudia welcomed us warmly and we finished our shoot inside the lovely cafe. It was the best.
Thanks Sabrina & Lucas, I can’t wait until your wedding day this fall!
