Today I am happy to share Mike & Sharon’s beautiful Rosewater Room wedding with you! The details from their special day were numerous and beautiful. I was very honoured to be asked by this special couple to photograph their wedding as I used to work with Mike years and years ago! We had the best time together shooting their University of Toronto engagement photos, so I knew that the wedding would be a wonderful experience!
One King West Hotel served as not only the getting ready spot for both the ladies and the gentlemen, but it was also the perfect backdrop for some wedding party photos before the Rosewater Room wedding ceremony took place. We walked along King Street and ventured into some of the rooms upstairs at One King West to get a great variety of fun and creative wedding photos for Sharon & Mike.
Our favourite Toronto wedding officiant, Jeremy Citron, presided over the matrimonial festivities and declared Sharon & Mike officially married! While wedding guests had cocktail hour downstairs at Rosewater Restaurant, we managed to sneak away with the newlyweds for a few extra photos in front of Tom Jones Restaurant and the amazing yellow Guinness beer mural.
As I mentioned before, the details at this Rosewater Room wedding were stunning. The whole day was coordinated by the talented Faye from Events Your Way! Andy’s Cakes provided the gorgeous wedding cake (with an adorable wooden bird topper found on Etsy by Sharon). Lush Floral Boutique designed the lovely florals, while Sharon’s hair & make-up was flawless courtesy of Donna Marie, while her dress was designed by Enzoani, and Mike by her side looking dapper in a suit by Hugo Boss.
Everyone danced the night away with a little help from Maximum DJ. Sharon & Mike’s guests enjoyed the fabulous food from Rosewater Restaurant and everyone went home with a tasty & unique David’s Tea wedding favour of Vanilla Orchid Oolong tea.
Congratulations Mike & Sharon! Your Rosewater Room wedding was so special. It was the perfect start for your beautiful marriage! Thank you for asking me to capture your memories.
