Leanne & Arthur’s beautiful Royal Conservatory of Music wedding was held in downtown Toronto on the most lovely bright & sunny day.
Beginning with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony upstairs, the wedding featured a travel theme. Check out their amazing invitations & centerpieces. There were plenty of gorgeous DIY projects courtesy of Leanne & her wedding party, this wedding was such a perfect day!
We walked around Yorkville for our photo time, and ended up in front of the beautiful Frank Gehry designed Royal Ontario Museum and Philosopher’s Walk, which is part of the University of Toronto campus. So basically when you have a Royal Conservatory of Music wedding in Toronto, there are so many beautiful Toronto photography locations all within a short walking distance!
Here are a few questions I asked Arthur & Leanne about their wedding & engagement:
Q. How long have you been together?
A. 4 years – since June 9, 2011
Q. How did you meet?
A. We met in university back in 2004. We are both on the same debate team.
Q. What do you love most about your relationship?
A. Arthur cherishes Leanne’s ability to make him smile and her “natural” and simple personality.
Leanne cherishes Arthur’s confidence in her, supporting her to pursue anything.
Q. How did the proposal take place?
A. At Arthur’s house. It is their 33 month-niversary. Arthur prepared a steak dinner. Half way through the dinner, Arthur walked to the piano and played Leanne two songs. The first one is a classical piece – Chopin’s Nocturne Opus 9 no.1. The second one is a chinese love song – he then sang along and at the end of the song, proposed.
Q. Why did you choose your wedding venue?
A. Our Royal Conservatory of Music wedding venue has a lot of natural light and can bring the greenery outside in through the floor to ceiling windows.
